I've been thinking about this image a lot since yesterday (mainly because it was funny before the reality of it set in).

Like, how hard did the depression actually hit Lucifer? Was it a gradual decline or did he just give up altogether? We've seen the aftermath and how distant, forgetful, and absentminded it made him, but what was he like before?

And how long did it take the other Sins to realize Lucifer wasn't coming back any time soon? Did they wait for him at the meetings? The hearings? How long did it take for them to stop taping their fingers and twiddling their thumbs for them to say, "Fuck it. Let's start without him and fill him in later?" How long before they just got started once everyone else arrived, not even bothering to wait anymore? Did they reach out and try to bring him back to his old self or did they just wipe their hands clean of him? I'd like to think Ozzie and Bee would have tried repeatedly because, let's face it, they're the most caring of the Sins we've seen interact with the cast. Hell, maybe even Mammon broke out a few of the old clown routines to try and get Lucifer laughing, like old times. Who knows?

At the end of the day, though, there's really only so much a person (or even demon royalty) can do before one has to realize that the person they're trying to care for has to make an effort, too. Otherwise, they're just wasting their time, and they're probably busy enough as it is.

Belphegor Redesign (My Style)

Remember when I said I wasn't satisfied with canon deadly sins design in Mastermind? Yeah, so, I decided to redesign them since I did once for Beelzebub, starting with Belphegor because she was the easiest for me to think of her redesign (Not gonna lie, Sloth Ring's aesthetic kinda reminds me of Menhera aesthetic which was my favorite)

I basically just fused my own fanmade version of her (Lab attire, glasses, four horns, dishelved messy hair which kinda based off my wavy hair, tail, shirt with sleepy eye necktie, skirt and leggings and furry legs and tail) with her canon look (I think I accidentally making her hand bigger, sorry) the marking under her eyes was supposed to act like an exhausted eye bags.

For her personality, I do headcanon her that besides 90% tired and sleepy all the time (which makes her falls asleep anytime like in canon version), she's also apathetic and not caring with other's problem since it wasted her time (NOTE: Apathy is also part of the deadly sin sloth) and Bee once said that Belle called her jackass for stealing her drugs. So, I kinda imagine Belphegor to be an anti social and an introvert, like my old headcanon and during Blitz's trial, she spends her time sleeping, because she finds the imp's problem is his problem, not hers.

However, she gets serious when things go bad and it involves Charlie's safety (Not gonna, I kinda wish that she also appears in Hazbin Hotel, since Charlie has her contact number) and knows what happened between Lucifer and Lilith in the past 7 years (I headcanon her to know Roo's existence as well, befitting her fortune teller role).

I might do Leviathan and Satan next.

Fun fact: I know her outfit was inspirated by Othello from Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji, but I think Belphegor is more like demon version of Hakutaku from Hoozuki no reitetsu.

Belphegor/The Sloth Ring

Oh my sweet sleepy she/they who gets off screened,,,

Also I did a bit of building with The Sloth Ring in general.

Belphegor, out of all the fallen angels, had the easiest transition from Heaven to Hell. She's practically dead to the world most of the time and conversations with her never last very long. She is eternally exhausted, excluding a cold chill that inspires you to curl up with the nearest blanket- but if you get too close to her fur you'll just melt right into it. Naturally I took away her arms, they won't be needing those. I imagine she's very magical, has telekinetic powers that move things out of her way automatically when she sleepwalks. Also some level of psychic powers, very good at reading emotions... would be awesome if she could communicate that but she rarely has the energy too. As for the rest of her design elements, I combined moth motifs with her previous sheep/llama vibes. This isn't for any good reason really, I just heavily associate moths with winter and death. I've also tried to make her shapes a touch more rounded besides the wings/cape arms. I wanted to really emulate drippy wax with her fur as well- Honestly, I'm not sure I'm happy with her but I DO love her dark smokey candle that just fucking blinds you lmao

I wanted to lean into a overwhelming presence with the big form, I honestly might go back and rework it because I'm not super happy with it but- yk. I really was inspired by the Minecraft Warden for her as she acts as more of an environmental hazard, not only are you mostly in the dark but you're completely disoriented. Like you're being pumped full of melatonin gummies and are desperate to stay awake. She's for sure in a lot of pain in her Big Fuckoff Form, all she wants to do is sleep. I imagine she can't talk at all like this, projecting feelings into people rather than having the energy to express them, which is naturally draining on anyone else.

As for the Sloth Ring, I wanted to scrap the hospital thing and fully make it into a winter wonderland. The cold really slows the world down, muffles noise, makes you want to just stay in. Why go to work when you have to shovel the driveway? Also I find it fun to make it so that Hell Literally Froze Over since she was the last to fall. Primarily for not doing their job in Heaven. Belph was the Archangel of Dreams, Visions, and Positive Energy- which was originally shared by herself and Lucifer before The Apple Incident, and then after her own fall those titles were given to Lucifer's younger brother Michael. (Who we will get to LATER, I have a lot of Extra Angels to draw.)

This is a shorter post because admittedly with finals week I have been scatter brained as all hell BUT! I do have the rest of the Sins + An Extra done and colored! Sorry this is sparce guys

Also I realized the sins Big Fuckoff Forms (particularly Mammon and Bee) are not big enough but this damn thing is as big as the canvas gets so I'll have to mess with it yet again-
